Our 15-metre catamaran, the Pelorus Express, was custom built locally in 2017 by the previous owners of the Pelorus Mail Boat. The previous boat, which had also been built by its owners at the time, had been in use for 30 years before its replacement.
The new Pelorus Express now has a beach boarding ramp and custom built kayak and bike racks.
The Pelorus Express can carry 99 passengers and features spacious indoor and outdoor viewing areas for passengers, as well as plenty of room for our mail and supplies.
